About

Little Abstract was founded by South African born abstract artist, Jeremy Brown.  As a youth art mentor for the One Love Generation Organization and uncle to five nephews and a niece, Brown has spent a lot of time over the years developing fun and educating art project suitable for kids.  Jeremy developed the Little Abstract art kit as means to introduce young and inspiring minds to the world of art and creativity, while at the same time creating a bonding experience between the parent and child.  What is left is a one-of-a-kind tangible abstract expressionistic painting that can then be stretched and hung on the wall, a memento of the experience & time shared during the project.  Brown see's art as a pivotal mode of uninhibited self-expression and amazement for a child. Creating art expands a child's ability to interact with the world around them, and provides a new set of skills for self-expression and communication.  Not only does art help to develop the right side of the brain, it also cultivates important skills that benefit a child's development and creativity.  Rather than being told what to do, answers and directions are created by the child.  Art is an experience that requires freethinking, experimentation, and analysis -- all key components of the creative process.

"Every child is born an artist, they just need to be given the opportunity to explore."
-Jeremy Brown
